Graphic identity and exhibition graphics for the exhibition AfriCOBRA: Nation Time. Presented by bardoLA, originated and supported by the Museum of Contemporary Art North Miami, and curated by Jeffreen M. Hayes, Ph.D., was the first major exhibition of AFRICOBRA’s work in Europe. The exhibition was made possible with the generous support of Kavi Gupta Gallery, Chicago, Illinois, the City of North Miami, Florida, and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation.
Tasked by Biennale to create a new logo for the AfriCOBRA exhibition that was different from the first design, but MOCA needed me to keep it similar enough to the first design so that people would know that it was a continuation from the first popular exhibition.
