Publication contributor for AFRICOBRA: Messages to the People exhibition catalog accompanies MOCA’s groundbreaking exhibition celebrating the founding of AfriCOBRA – the Black artist collective that helped define the visual aesthetic of the Black Arts Movement of the 1960s and 1970s. The exhibition in 2018-2019 marked the 50th anniversary of the Chicago-based collective, and later traveled to the 2019 Venice Biennale as AFRICOBRA: Nation Time.
