Intrepid Museum Bus Wraps

Intrepid Museum, 2023

As part of Intrepid’s rebranding efforts, I was tasked with designing bus wraps for New York City’s iconic two-story Top View tourist buses. These buses travel daily through Times Square and along 34th Street, making them high-visibility mobile billboards.

I leaned into the new “Big and Bold” branding direction by incorporating a striking photo of the ship on one side and a glamorized image from the flight deck on the other—designed to give the illusion of aircraft launching into the viewer’s space. I also worked closely with stakeholders to integrate a QR code, thoughtfully positioning it for both visibility and safety.

This large-scale project was a dynamic opportunity to extend the museum’s brand into the cityscape with impact and clarity.

Bonus mention: I also created a full vehicle wrap for a Hummer as Graphic Arts Manager at Anheuser-Busch (Eagle Brands Sales) in Miami. Wrapped for Bud Light on June 20, 2010, this project marked one of my earliest large-format vehicle designs.
